Just a moment.

just-a-moment

The sound /ʌ/ in “just” is interesting, as we only say it like this in Southern English. In the majority of the British Isles, this sound is pronounced /ʊ/, like “look”, or “foot”.

We say this phrase to ask somebody to wait, for example if the phone or doorbell rings and you have to leave for a minute.
