Notice the change in pronunciation of “was”, because it’s weak, it loses the vowel more or less completely. The whole of this phrase should be said with the mouth not very open.
This means “It was a very funny”, or “It was a lot of fun”, not that it was scary. Hallowe’en is over, but don’t be sad, it’s the Day of the Dead tomorrow!
