Notice the glottal stop again for the t. This is a stop way down in your throat, not with your tongue. (See notes on “Come off it”.) This is easier when followed by /s/.

We use “let’s” to make a suggestion, so the phrase means “I suggest we go”, but it’s quite a strong suggestion. The stronger it is, the bigger the change in intonation on “go”.
